I just finished reading a short, easy read book of cute and special mommyisms. But, guess what the triple , extra syrupy cherry on top of the whip cream smothered ice cream is> It was written by a man. Not just any man, but by a divorced dad who I must say we could all take some parenting pointers from.. This is one selfless dedicated determined dad. In his short bio I learned this: Gregory E. Lang loves his daughter far more than he does not love his ex wife. He is willing to co-parent in a way that is always best for the child. Gold stars, Daddy-O!!!!!!
" WHY A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM?" I will post some of my favorites written by Gregory Lang
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- to provide her with memories that will last forever
- to assure her that she always has a place to come home to
- Because no one understands girls like a mom.
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- to soothe the pain of a broken heart
- to teach her that sometimes choosing to wait is a good idea
- to teach her that you cannot make someone love you, but you can be someone who can be loved
- to tell her that the road to happiness is not always straight
- to explain that the sweetest flower may not always be the prettiest.
- to carry her when she is tired
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- to catch her of she falls
- to remind her to be playful, no matter how old she is
- to remind her , on the bad days, she is not alone
- to show her how to love someone with all of her heart
- to explain how to set limits with boys
- to help her see that death is part of life
- to teach her not to wait until tomorrow to say " I'm sorry"
- to instill patience in her
- who never grows tired of holding hands
- to teach her the art of conversation
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- to tell her that grudges are too burdensome to carry
- to nurture her imagination
- to make sure she keeps a true heart
- to comfort her through her tears
- to challenge her to strive for what is just beyond her reach
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- to teach her that you cannot start a life over again, but you can change the way it ends
- to teach her not to let a good day slip from her fingers
- to give her courage to stand up for herself
A DAUGHTER NEEDS A MOM
- BECAUSE WITHOUT HER SHE WILL HAVE LESS IN HER LIFE THAN SHE DESERVES
THIS I S ONE LUCKY GIRL, WITH A DAD LIKE GREGORY LANG, HER MOM HAS TO BE MARY POPPINS, CAROL BRADY & JUNE CLEAVER ALL ROLLED INTO ONE NICE HOME COOKED APPLE PIE
